On March 9th we took our gentle giant, Sarge, to Nelson Elementary School in San Antonio. Sarge is an ex Army, part Percheron at about 15 years old.
The children were 4 to 11 years old and they fell in love with Sarge. None were afraid of him and were hanging all over him!
The interesting thing was that there were other companies attending, including the Army. As soon as Sarge saw the hummer and soldiers, he reacted. He started calling to them and wouldn't stop until one soldier came over to see him!
It was a great time for all of us and we will be taking Sarge to other events in the future.
